Once again I am in Alabama on business. Icy weather messed up my flights out of Columbus and it was an all around bad travel day. But how great to get on LJ and see that i had made some of your "Make my Day lists" It was the awesome virtual hug I needed when I finally made it to the hotel.

Alabama doesn't seem so frustrating now.

So, I started the new job on Monday. The one where I get paid to watch paint dry as my son says. Actually, I'm more of an engineer.
Huge new office with a door, Yea! But someone else's crap everywhere They were fired so I guess I shouldn't bitch about cleaning the space out myself. Filled two dumpsters full of junk. Hope no one needed that stuff.

It is impossible to remember the names of 40 people who introduce themselves all at once. I've met at least 6 Daves and 5 Jeffs. I am going with one of those if I can't remember and play the odds. Very stressful.

Very little time to write which adds to the stress. My multi-chapter fic is up to 8 chapters and 10,000words. It is by far the longest thing I've ever tried to write and I'm kind of blocked.

I thought random stream of conscience here would get me going again. Off now to beat my muse into submission. Thanks for listening
