One week gone

Well, I have finished that first week of work and I haven't run screaming into the night. I am guessing it will be a good job. There's these two guys at work with the same name(really unusual last name too.) and everybody calls one good Dave and the other evil Dave. How can you not like a place that comes with its own set of evil twins?

Also, there's free travel with this job. Going to Birmingham, Al next week and St Louis after that. I'm a bit of a nervous flier ever since that disastrous business flight to Australia. So, a chance to overcome that fear. I tell the story if anyone is curious.

On the story front I have finished 9 chapters of the big one and have the ending written long hand. Yes, in this world of modern conveniences I write every story on paper before I type it into the computer. Am I crazy?

I fail at betaing at the moment. I'm terribly sorry about that. These two conferences and the talk I have to do have sucked my energy out of doing pretty much anything.

And I often write things out first, because I write in the bath ;-)

As for the Beta. i totally understand.Life keeps happening to me, too. If you don't have time that's fine. I can put a call for another. otherwise do you want the next chapter?
