Squee! Someone nominated my fic Stand Me Up at the Gates Of Hell at Twisting the Hellmouth for best Supernatural/Buffy crossover.



I am thrilled , pleased but mostly surprised because this was about the second thing I ever wrote and I never really thought about it again. I even forgot to list it in my archive. But I have now. I am thrilled beyond words that someone thought enough of something I wrote to make the nomination

Updated 12/4/07: Woke up this morning to find a second story nominated. Five languages Daniel couldn't translate, but Dawn could for best portrayal of Dawn.

I may never stop my happy dance. Thank you who ever you are who nominated my stuff and thanks to everyone who has ever read and enjoyed a story I wrote. *hugs to everyone*

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and to my Non US friends hope you had a great weekend.

I am back in the LJ world.  I was having Computer withdrawal and  did not write or edit one word for 4 days.  Yikes.

Sis is doing great.  She is a mad Woman on the crutches.  She is just wearing a boot rather then a solid cast.  They want her doing exercises already.  The bad news is they suspect she will have a permanent limp but she is really optimistic about the whole thing. I am so impressed.

I am not a fan of shopping but Black Friday is my sister's favorite day of the year.  So what's a big sis to do but go along.  Actually, I was so glad to be there this year to help her becasue she was worried that she wouldn''t be able to do it and she's never missed a BF that I can remember . 

She is a machine.  The night before she goes through all the ads and then plots out her morning.  I get a kick out of watching her do this.  She is like a kid in a candy store.  We had a blast , some real sister bonding time.  It was really nice and we got everything she wanted. Plus, becasue she was on crutches we got good parking and everyone was so helpful.

Trying to catch up on everything.  So good to be back :)

Yes, I was one of the three people who watched Viva Laughlin - wow, that was bad but like a car wreak I couldn't look away. I'm not surprised it was cancelled but I was morbidly curious to see Hugh Jackman humiliate himself in another episode.

Since Viva Laughlin crashed and burned, my one guilty reality TV pleasure, Amazing Race gets to return Sunday in its place. So - happy about that.
