I have been trimming my TV watching as the season has progressed. As Always I'm curious about what you are watching and your thoughts about your favorite shows, so share
Yes, I was one of the three people who watched Viva Laughlin - wow, that was bad but like a car wreak I couldn't look away. I'm not surprised it was cancelled but I was morbidly curious to see Hugh Jackman humiliate himself in another episode.
Since Viva Laughlin crashed and burned, my one guilty reality TV pleasure, Amazing Race gets to return Sunday in its place. So - happy about that.
Monday
Chuck - Still loving this show. The ratings aren't great but I am hopeful. The last episode where Morgan stepped up to maturity was very good. That needs to happen for these two guys to continue to be friends.
Heroes - Not seeing the sophomore slump that is causing all the hand wringing. Yes the wonder twins are annoying but this week when she gave into to Sylar; it made the trudge through the dessert worth while. Too much of Claire's alienation issues (we did this last year) and I wish Hiro was back in the present but we finally got a good cliff hanger with Peter jumping ahead in time. Once I decide a show is on my must see list I tend to be very patient.
Tuesday
NCIS - Tony's back. Each episode just makes me happy. No crazy season long arc - it isn't needed for this kind of show. The Tiva tension feels really ramped up like they are heading into a relationship. I want them in bed together (Tony and Ziva - my OTP).
House - Not liking the reality internship contest. I want Chase, Foreman and Cameron working together. This week was better with Foreman back but not enough of the others. Not feeling the love for the new interns either.
Wednesday
Pushing Daisies - I still can't figure out why I feel compelled to watch this show. I say I don't like it but yet I keep recording it. I would love to hear from those who watch it why they like it.
Maybe because I watch nothing else on Wednesdays.
Thursday
Supernatural - better than ever need I say more?
Smallville - I keep watching but in this case I know why - I am a glutton for punishment. Really it's because they may actually kill Lana someday and I don't want to miss it.
I have had to give up on Scrubs because CSI takes the other 9pm space on my DVR - Don't mind so much because Scrubs jumped the shark long ago - but I am curious about the janitor's real name.
Friday
Moonlight - My new TV boyfriend and my favorite new show. It received additional script orders and is holding the ratings better than the previous 9pm occupant. So yay - a genre show I like and I don't have to worry about ratings - Definitely slipped into the twilight zone
SG: Atlantis - Still love it but they are messing with the show/cast and I hope it finds its way.
Numbers - New for me this season. I read this wonderful SPN/Numbers Cross Take the Long Line by
derry667 and had to start watching this show.
Woman's Murder Club - Loved the books and enjoyed the pilot - not sure I will stick with it. A couple of more episodes to be sure.
Share your thoughts about the season - I can talk TV all day.
