I love the way Buck just saunters on by and walks past the baddies in the beginning.




The "Cowboy exchange" cracks me up every time especially since Vin insists on calling Chris cowboy throughout the rest of the series.

My favorite scene in the episode may be when Buck tells JD how stupid he is for wanting to be sheriff - the playfulness and obvious camaraderie is a real joy.


I love this expression from Chris as he listens to Vin and JD argue about saying something "nice" over a box of rocks.


I don't want to know what's going on under that table but that face cracks me up!

As I was capping I noticed that he tossed about eight cards in a row into the hat & he never missed - I thought that was a nice touch.


Okay - I know that has to be Buck sitting there behind Vin but he didn't come along - So what happened - change in the script but they'd already shot these scenes - very curious.

Well, these are just fabulous!! I love the way Buck just saunters into view with that sweet smile and saying "Howdy Fellas," real friendly-like, and then moving right up into one of James' henchmen's face, using his height and weight to intimidate the guy. He then casually sits back, right on their flank, and slowly positions his sawed-off. Brilliant!!

Then his quiet laugh and look - oh, you boys are SO going down.

That whole scene with all of the boys getting a moment is just lovely to watch - male posturing, humor, and so in character for each of them.

And yes, the scene with Buck and JD is just all kinds of wonderful. Buck at his Mother Hen best. :-)

Ezra's scenes in the jail are little gems, no? Especially Chris telling him he has been a bad boy. Now there is a C/E slash moment.

And finally, Buck riding in on a white horse (OK, gray horse) to save the day!! It doesn't get much better than that. Yes, you can always count on Buck, and Chris knows it. A moment for us C/B lovers.

I hadn't really noticed but I wonder if this is the only episode where Ezra doesn't wear a vest. He does look a little less than his dapper self without one.

Nice caps...especially the very pretty Ezra! I do believe that is Josiah, not Buck, in the group shot as they look over the ranch before going in.

I've always wondered if they just edited that jail scene with the cards to make sure they all landed in the hat, altho I wouldn't put it past AS to have practiced a lot to get it right the first time! I know it's hard to do but there is a trick to it.

Yes Josiah is next to JD but if you look carefully at Vin's hat you can another behind it - and if you look under the telescope there is a hand holding a shot gun - It's not Ezra - he stayed with the horses - it has to be Buck.

As for the Jail scene - watching it carefully for caps it is definitely one take - I'm guessing just like learning to manipulate a deck of cards, TS got pretty good at this too

Luckily the SPN universe is covered but most of the available caps in Mag7 fandom are old and blurry

You know, I thought 130prompts was going to be the death of me, I even have an icon that says that - now I'm beginning to think that your screencaps will be the death of me and I should make an icon saying that (but that would be a good thing;-) )

I love Ezra's jackets, but the one I love the most (and I'm probably the only one) is the plain beige one he wears after the guy takes his jacket. And my favourite scene; Ezra and Buck trying to light the dynamite.

And yes it's one of your screencaps, as the icon before it and in this one.

I tried doing something different this time. No textures/brushes or text and I think a lot of them turned out really well.

I love the red jacket too, and we don't see it as much later on in the series. Thankfully he wears it in 'Serpents'.
