This Journal Protected by Rock Salt and Winchesters

I love fan fiction but I don't really write any.  Well, I do but I never finish anything and they are all very Mary Sue because nobody deserves Dean Winchester, John Sheppard, Tony Dinozzo, Daniel Jackson (the list goes on), more than my faux substitute.

Anyway, as I thought about why i am keeping this Journal, I decided that reccing other peoples fic is my purpose and my duty after lurking for so long.

So reaching back into the archives, I start my list with mostly Stargate stuff  and  the one LOTR series which I partially blame for  getting me started me started in this whole crazy fanfic world.  The exact dates are fuzzy. Also, if anyone sees something I should not have linked let me know and I will remove it.

• http://www.ans.com.au/~gsuter/Patientpro.htm - This first in a series of AU stories for LOTR by Scribe What if the fellowship were reborn today and Legolas found the reincarnation of Aragorn in New York City?  There are several in this series and they are brilliant
• http://www.chaps1870.com/butterflyeffect.htm - Stargate Atlantis.  A time travel/not time travel story of Mckay and Sheppard meeting as teens. More of a What-if and it breaks my heart evertime I read it.
• http://dietcokechic.com/stargate/BaristaSeries.html - The OFC in this is brilliant as you can see from all the awards she's won.  This was the first time I became an addict for new chapters.  Experience every Stargate SG-1 episode from an outsiders view point.

I love the Character of Lorne and Live Journal fed my need for more of this underused sidekick. Looking for Lorne stories was a full time addiction.

• miss_porcupine has written the best Lorne anywhere along with a great support team miss-porcupine.livejournal.com/tag/lorne+season+3.  All her writing of the military structure on Atlantis and Lorne's team is my canon.  I wish the show wrote the interaction between Sheppard and Lorne as well as she does.

My Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis obsession has been replaced by Supernatural and a crossover addiction that can not be healthy.  I think i will tackle those in the next post.
