strangevisitor7: I will call Her george (Mag 7 - Ezra is not happy)
[personal profile] strangevisitor7
So as I head into day five of no power, I am starting to get pissed. #%@$@&#!!!!

Called AEP - we are on the list for friday. FRIDAY!!! Not a happy camper. They lied about Wednesday but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. My block is the only one in the neighborhood without power - Lucky me.

But at least I will be able to watch SPN tonight. A friend with power has taken pity on me and has invited me over to watch.

And because the quote meme makes me happy, (Sorry Ith don't know Forever Knight well enough to quote) here are some others floating around the flist:

1) When you see this post, put a quote from the Buffyverse in your journal.
Xander: That's something you don't see everyday...unless you're us.

2) When you see this, post a quote from Stargate Atlantis in your journal.
Maj. John Sheppard: How's it coming, Rodney?
Dr. Rodney McKay: Slower than I expected, but faster than humanly possible.

3) When you see this, post a quote from Supernatural in your journal.
Sam: I don't understand, Dean. We burned the damn thing.
Dean: Yeah, thank you, Captain Obvious.

4) And because I am being held hostage by the power company - I'm starting a new one with a quote that seems appropriate.
When you see this, post a quote from Magnificent 7 in your journal.
Ezra: Now that we are rid of that loathsome curmudgeon you can effect my emancipation.
JD: Huh?
Ezra: Let me Out!!!

Please someone call the Winchesters or the Mag7 boys and tell them to shoot the power company or something. Maybe Chris Larabee can glare them into submission or Dean can exorcise the gremlins infecting my power lines. Or maybe I need Rodney McKay right now - he'd have had my power back in 15 minutes!

OOh Kronos - good choice. I know I'd get on the job if he was coming for me but alas it seems AEP doe not feel threatened by fictional TV characters. What the hell is wrong with them?

Well, I'll just back up my Kronos with a dose of Caspian and we'll see what that does...

PS - I have a thing for the horsemen, and I do not care that they are evil. Evil is fun. ;)

I've had a impulse to write Kronos lately. I think he'll make an appearance in my current WIP.

That's step #456 in how to get me to check it out. ;) *points to invisible list* See? 'Write Kronos into a story.' ;)

LOL! I know he's for sure showing up -- this would be just after Duncan finds his empty grave -- in 1867. I just haven't decided how to, one, present him, because I don't think he's always stir crazy, but I'm not sure my interpretation would fly with readers, and two, if he reappears later on, in the 1920s, which was related to my opium pondering yesterday [g] (this is for 'I Am Going to the West' btw) I've only written Kronos in that one fic earlier this year, and that was an AU version, so I'm dithering :)

Maybe you can be my Kronos-meter! I can run my Kronos stuff past you and see if it works for you.

Oooh, yeah. Of course, it will be in the midst of fast and furious writing to submit two stories within one month to submit for a contest. *crosses eyes* But yes, I will be a Kronos-meter. Mmmmmm, Kronos...*sigh*

It'll be a while before I get back to it. I'd posted the first two parts before Iron Man ate my brain and Tony inserted himself into the universe [g] I need to finish the Queen of Swords fic I've been posting first. Unless I have a sudden burst of writing frenzy, I doubt it would be before mid October :)

Oooh, sweet! The contest deadline is Oct 20th. :) And then I gear up for NaNo in November, plus I may try to crank out the rest of another story between contest deadline and NaNo. (Yes, I am certifiable.)

*raises hand* Can I offer myself up as one of the things to be done? *blushes and slaps hand over mouth, mumbles* I said that out loud, didn't I?

*blushes, blinks innocently* I can't help it. Evils like Caspian and Kronos...well, they just do it for me.

Can I just add that you two are a riot!

Very much enjoy that Kronos love is taking over this thread.

*whispers* I get to meet Max Testory in two weeks at Indylander con. Just wait until I go into Caspian overload. ;)

*louder* I adore Kronos. I remember the first time I ever saw CaH and Rev 6:8, my immediate thought was 'Damn, can I be a sandwich between Methos and Kronos?' - I was hooked then. Caspian love came later, and yes, I even have Silas love.

ROFLMAO! I will refrain from the immediate comment that sprang to mind and just say, the evil boys could help generate chemistry, electricity, heat and other things. Just not sure that would get your power back on. ;)

See that gutter there - That's where my mind is right now.

LMAO and a puddle of incoherency - thinking about you and the evil chemistry boys.

If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless...a friend has that as a permanent fixture in her email signature. It's appropriate. Mine has taken up residence in the gutter, permanent residence.

Woot! Evil chemistry boys rawk my world! If only in my mind... *laughs evilly*
