First Lines Meme

Post the first lines from your last 20 stories and look for patterns. I included links to the stories for those curious where the line came from.
So here's the summary. 18/20 first lines included a character name and only one story - Ghost Town - did not include people at all. Only two started with dialog.
Since this was the summer of the Spawn fic challenge - 11 of them are about JD Winchester. Seems I written more stories about him than any other character this summer.
I had been worried because I was feeling like my muse had left and I hadn't written much lately. I look at this list and see that isn't true. All 20 stores were written since May!!! Holy crap that's a lot of stories in 3 months. Feeling much better about my Muse.

2)Tim followed Gibbs as he motioned the junior agent toward the elevator. Story here
3) JD stopped abruptly at the doorway to the high school cafeteria and flung his arms out, causing his to friends Chris and Eddie to run into him. Story here
4) Mule couldn’t believe he’d let JD talk him into this hunt. Story here
5) Don entered his apartment and closed the door behind him. Story here
6) As he drew closer to his destination, Richie couldn’t contain his excitement Story here
7) Woodward and Bernstein had uncovered the Watergate scandal by following the money and Chloe felt that if she could just do that with Luthorcorp, she would find Lex's latest version of 33.1 Story here
8) Dean and Duncan had tracked the moss creature that had been killing the campers to its nest in the swamp Story here
9) JD walked into the kitchen to find his parents waiting for him; they didn’t look happy. Story here
10) “Mom, I’m too old to have a babysitter,” JD whined. Story here
11)Dean pulled the Impala up to the curb in front of Sam’s house. Story here
12) Dean sat in the co-pilot’s chair as Wash prepared for take-off. Story here
13) “You really think it was fair to make Mule wash your car?” Richie asked. Story here
14) JD leaned against the door frame of his brother’s room Story here
15) Ducky was elbow deep in the chest cavity of their latest victim. Story here
16) The Historical Preservation Society of New Mexico had lost their last appeal to get the old deserted town of Four Corners declared an historical landmark. Story here
17) JD was smiling as he steered the Impala toward home. Story here
18) JD sat on the front steps of his house and studied the gleaming black car parked at the curb. Story here
19) The brothers finally broke their embrace Story here
20) Katie shifted the three year-old on her hip as she opened to door to admit the rest of her brood into the house. Story here

Katie and I were talking about this. just pick one from each and have them find there way into a neutral place - space time rift - and they realize they are all versions of Winchester spawn from parallel universes. They could and just talk about their parents it would be hilarious.
JD would be really shocked to find that Dean has kids because he can't in my AU plus His Mom doesn't exist in the other worlds - could be traumatic

Or it could be a series of co-authored fics...Everyone gets a turn with the other spawn. Who knows. xD
I could see Holly with JD talking about Dean: "Are you sure he doesn't have kids? Because the way he goes at it with mom...It's a miracle there are only two of us. Thank God for modern medicine and birth control."

RandomSpawn: Well, considering my dad doesn't carry a broadsword, I don't think it'll screw things up too bad. If not, I'm sure we could find a DeLorean somewhere.
And yeah, that would definitely be an awkward conflict. xD But it'd be funny!
BTW, I'm working on the Super Secret Surprises now while I have time. I'll send you a rough copy of one soon. I need some input.
