Hey out there. Sitting in the airport on my way to Alabama for my monthly check in with the plant in Birmingham. Flight is delayed - of course. I really hate flying through Atlanta and yet I continue to do it.

I will be be sitting alone in a hotel room all night tonight. Hoping many of you will be around so I don't lose my mind!

I'm cutting it close on this week's spawn fic but I always seem to be inspired on airplanes. I think my muse likes the peanuts. She's been a little uncooperative lately.

But the good news on the writing front is the next Watcher!Abby story is at the beta. I've been neglecting poor Abby and I hope this means she'll be yakking at me more.

Halfway through a new highlander fic - Methos centric - yep when everyone else shuts up you can count on Methos to snark at you.

As for the ficathons update:
The numb3rs story was posted and I won't be signing up for that community again

The WTficathon story is almost done. It came together in an unexpected way and I'm writing House - never done that before. It's due Aug 22nd so I should make that.

After swearing off ficathons I signed up for the Mag7 one - come on how could I resist. I have an idea so it shouldn't be a problem.

Now if JD and Mule would just cooperate and tell me what mischief they are up to - I could write my spawn fic.

Well, it's changed since last I used it and there's no web version anymore. Can you use Gmail? They have a chat thing tied into their email. I've never used it though.

Let me see if it will actually let me download yahoo - I'll just have to delete it when i get back on the work net work. IT doesn't like when we download unauthorized rpograms

If nothing else, I figured out how to use Google/Gmail talk! I created a second account and used two browsers. It seems to be integrated into gmail. Kinda nifty actually.

BTW, I sent an invite to google chat to you. There's a downloadable version, but I bypassed that and went into gmail and used the chat function in the sidebar.

I know not, this Spawn that you talk of ... what is it? A show that I need to watch, a movie that I need to catch up on ... cartoon perhaps ... thinking on it, the name Spawn becomes more familiar ... perhaps he is a superhero??? Ahhhh, is he not a cartoon character turned into a movie??? Spawn is perhaps ... spawn of the Devil.

A groups of us who have married either Sam or Dean Winchester off in one of our stoires decided to write stories about their children As a summer challenge we post them every Tuesday on our com spawnfic_tues. I married Sam off in my Immortal Dean stories & his kids are Johnathan Dean (JD) Winchester and Samuel (mule) Winchester Jr. I created these boys before I found Mag7 but I started calling John, JD after because of JD Dunne - seriously.

In my next story I give JD a group of friends - who might seems very familiar - yep i modeled his friends on 4 of the 7 - I called them Chris, Nate, Joey and Eddie - because I just couldn't use Josiah and Ezra but you'll recognize them

Yep Spawn the comic book character was created by todd macfarlane. There was a movie too

When ever I talk about spawn fic to hubby he teases me about writing about the comic book character

Oh I should mention been capping Nemesis - so bored... so very bored. I hadn't realized how much of my enjoyment came from seeing Ezra over and over again...but then I shouldn't be surprised - he's very good motivation

I know when I watch the show (any ep) I tend to fastforward through the scenes that Ezra isn't in.

Strange how an extremely good-looking, interesting character can blind you to what's going on in the other scenes.

I do that to but usually it's just the non 7 scenes. Still i have been known to pop in a DVD just to watch specific scenes of Ezra I'm in the mood to see
