Don't Call Me Junior: A Drabble and a Question for my flist

So I was planning out my next story for spawnfic_tues when I realized that naming Katie and Sam's second son Sam jr has created an annoying problem of too many Sam's. Sam Jr. agrees and wants a nickname.

So I ask you dear flist please help me find a good nickname for this child - I bring a small drabble that expresses my his frustration at being called Junior.

Edited to add: I don't know of a canon middle name for Sam Winchester, Sr. Anybody out there know if Kripke gave him one?

“That’s it I’ve had it!” thirteen year-old Sam Jr. exclaimed as he stormed into the kitchen.

Katie frowned at her second son. “Sammy what’s wrong?”

“It’s my name,” he groused. “I hate it.”

“Why?” she asked though she had her suspicions.

“It’s always Junior or little Sam or Sammy. I want my own identity.”

She nodded sympathetically. It had always been a sore point with him but she’d never seen him this upset about it. “What did you have in mind?”

Sam shrugged.

Katie smiled and couldn’t help herself. “Well, we could always call you Indiana.”

“Not funny, Mom!”

I'm thinking that when he turned 13 Dean gave him a gun just like JD but he could come over after hearing Katie tell that story and bring him another gift of the fedora and Richie could get him the Whip and Duncan could get him the jacket - it could be seriously hilarious to deck this 13 year old kid out like Indy.

Yep - it seems to be the nickname of choice. now I just need a way to introduce it in a story.

I have no clue how it should be introduced into the story. When I have something like that I generally just throw it in and hope no one notices.

I'll probably get back over and read more Immortal!Dean verse in a few days. Things have been really busy the last few days between work and finishing up that Firefly ficlet so I could post it this afternoon, and tomorrow I've gotta go to my grandparents house for the afternoon.

I work Monday and Tuesday, so I'm guessing probably Tuesday night. I really want to get to more of the Firefly stories but I'm not quite there yet...

Not too much on my plate. It gets crazy for a few days then dies down for a feew deys then the cycle repeats itself. If I go and get another job like I need to then it will really get crazy.

I don't know it's just a little too "Little Rascals" and I really disliked those kids ;p

Maybe, I just give the kid a normal middle name like Mark.

Though i did think maybe Mule like in Sa(muel) use the second half of his name but otherwise it looks like Indy's winning. At least with family - I'm guessing at school without Dad around he'll still be Sam
