American Idol
Still Squeeing over David Cook making the finals of American Idol. I am a little disappointed in the low overall quality of the final three performance night. DC did good but not great. There were none of those idol moments like there have been in the past. The Producers should be shot for the lame songs they had all three contestants sing. For once the judge’s choices were the best of the night.

To all you DA fans out there - sorry I just don’t get him. My $20 bucks is still in play because for the 4th time in five years my friend and I have bet on the right two and are going head to head on the final for the cash..

I already mentioned how happy I was that Eli Stone was renewed but that is tempered by the loss of Moonlight.

CBS has so few holes in their schedule that they can afford to cancel something that would be a ratings leader on any other channel. Moonlight consistently won it’s time slot but failed to hold the numbers of its lead in Ghost Whisperer – seriously who watches that show.

Moonlight's replacement – A series about a desperate woman revisiting all her exes trying to find true love…sorry I just threw-up in my mouth a little.

So in conclusion – CBS sucks. First Jericho and now Moonlight. Seriously they are becoming as bad as FOX at breaking my heart. Though i heard rumors that the CW may be interested in Moonlight - fingers crossed. But CBS still Sucks!

As for the new shows, only "Life On Mars" holds any interest for me and only as a curiosity. I adored the British version and if history holds true the American version will be a pale imitation. Still I am a fan of Colm Meany and I am curious to see what he will do with the role of Gene Hunt.
Check out the US version: Life on Mars US Trailer. The guy narrating this drives me nuts - and so do the American accents. That will take some getting used to.

If you haven’t already heard, Allison Mack has signed for season 8 of Smallville. Yes I do still watch it but only for Chloe. If AM was gone then so was SV from my DVR.

Oh heavens, this explains the REAL reason I threw up in my mouth a little yesterday - replacing a supernatural series with... with... THAT?

I hope like HELL the CW doesn't pick up ML because I'm afraid they'll turn it into something unrecognisable. Maybe not, I hope SOMEONE picks them up but... it's like why I wouldn't want them to do a Covenant (as in the movie) series.

Although, it WOULD go with Supernatural. What else? I think someone else needs to pick up Blood Ties AND ML, and make it into a vampire night despite BT being about the female PI.

I'm so with you on the disappointing song choices. And I so don't get the DA squee. But then I'm not a squealing teenager.

Moonlight... CW has passed on it. There's some talk about USA or the Sci-Fi channel.

Haven't watched life on Mars yet. I'm still trying to catch up to Dr. Who (I missed a few episodes and haven't watched them yet.) Looks interesting though

The trailer is complete crap and now I've heard they are reshooting the pilot. Nnot sure if it will help but it can't be worse...i take that back...of course it can be.
