strangevisitor7OMFG it was fantastic. Even without Dennis they were great. The new guy fills the bill. Besides, I'm a Tommy girl. They played all my favorites Styx songs (except Crystal Ball). Blue Collar Man, Grand Illusion, Too Much Time on My Hands, Fooling Yourself, Come Sail Away and Renegade. Unfortunatley they only played 50 minutes because there were 2 other bands on the bill.
They ended with Renegade, of course. Was it wierd that I kept seeing the scene from Nightshifter play in my head? Spooky Symmetry. When I got home that was the episode that had aired on Sunday night. Yay DVR, watched the last 5 mins to regain that Styx high.
Next was REO speedwagon. Truly one of my least favorite bands form that era. My face was a mirror of Dean's when they came on and all I could hear was the exchange betwen him and Jo. "He sings from the hair" Guys, this is true!
Ended with Def Leppard. No Supernatural refence here. Huh? Still good though.
Great night. I saw Styx during the Conerstone tour back in High School in 19??. Tommy Shaw was my first Rocker Crush. Felt like a teenager again!
