strangevisitor7: I will call Her george (That Went Well)

I'm sitting in the hotel in Birmingham and completely frustrated because no CW channel here. So I missed the SPN rerun. And on top of that I have to say American Idol. What the Hell?. I mean seriously. TV addict is not happy tonight.

Micheal John  is eliminted. Is this a joke? I'm still a David Cook fan but MJ was my #2. I can't believe that Sayesha and KLC, even Carly, are still there. Yes this week MJ was a little off but he'd had some great weeks before that. I think this may be the biggest shocker ever! Your thoughts?

Eli Stone: Love this show and guess what Gordon Walkers alive! He's Eli's new client. Okay so not really GW but good to see him again. Plus Missouri Mosely is Eli's Secretary. Ok so it's Lorretta Devine but she is exceptional in the role of Patty. Completely love the SPN connections (it's all I'm getting tonight) Keeping my fingers crossed that this totally original and enjoyable show is renewed.

New Amsterdam: This show is growing on me. It's kind of like Highlander without the sword fighting. Unfortunately, I heard it was cancelled. Too bad John's journey was just getting interesting. I hope they answer the question of his true love before the end. I hate it when show are cancelled with no closure. Typical of Fox though.

Jericho still needs your support. Head over here at [personal profile] xtremeroswellia 's journal for all the details on how you can help bring this excellent show to another network

As you can see, I have nothing better to do today than surf LJ. :)

So, first: American Idol - don't talk to me about that show. Really. I only tolerate it because there's always something else on I can watch. Except for last night, where that whole 'idol gives back' thing ran long, and I had Mariah Carey pre-empting CSI:NY until CTV wised up and stopped overwriting the channels.

I just started to get into New Amsterdam, and am not really surprised it was cancelled. Especially being on Fox. They don't seem to promote new shows very well, and then are too eager to cancel when the ratings don't explode. Well, Fox, that's what happens when you don't advertise a show and people only realize it exists around ep 4! Morons!

Sorry, that was me venting.

I may get into Eli Stone later, but right now I have too many shows to keep track of.

Just you and me out there tonight i guess.

FOX - i just keep asking myself why i bother to watch their shows when they conintually break my heart. Not that I was obssesed with NA but seriously it's almost like they never had any intention of keeping it. Just filler during the strike and that is what pisses me off.

AI - you either love it or hate it. And while i think the idol gives back idea is great - I don't need 3 hours of it. Does that make me a bad person?

And yes i'm rewriting and working on that Fic. [g]

Does that make me a bad person?

Yes. Everyone who doesn't bow down in adoration at the feet of Mariah Carey as she deigns to shout and shimmy her way into most of the homes in North America, is going to hell.

(Again I state: I have issues.)

And Fox has continually made bad programming choices. They either have a hit, or they cancel the show. Unless it's some annoying reality show where people are manipulated and lied to - then the show will get at least two more seasons.

*hee* mariah who?

That reality lie detector thing - i'm appalled it is even on. I feel like we are just a heartbeat away from making "Running Man" a real TV show. Remember that Arnold S. movie where gladiators actually killed people for ratings! yikes

No doubt about it!

Hey got a new Buck icon. Been looking at lots of Buck pictures so i can describe him better in the story. I know hard work but I'll manage. [g]

Sorry you're in another hotel. I'm here if you want to chat :) As for New Amsterdam, I have yet to see a single episode, so if it's been canceled, I don't suppose there's any point to watching the ones I have on the DVR

Sorry to break the news. Many of the episodes were very good but without closer you'll just drive yourself crazy like me with the not knowing.

I'm still wondering who John Doe was - remember that Fox show?

I loved John Doe!

Well, honestly, I was debating deleting NA from the DVR. Realistically, I didn't think I'd ever catch up :)

Hotels are never any fun, especially when you can't watch the things you normally do.

That being said, I don't watch AI. But my flist is outraged over... something. Heh. *facepalm*

And DUDE. You missed the new SPN promo for the next new episode in... *looks at calendar* two weeks? O.O

The Ai fans will take some time coming down from this one. Big Shocker!

Promo! Well guess I'll find it later - someone always posts that stuff.

The good news - i'm writing lots. The Bad news - its not FF/SPN. As my official word counter i should report to you that that fic is over 9,000 words and I just needed a break

Seriously everythign I'm writing is turning epic. i need to go back to writing 1,500 word NCIS stuff. [g]

Oh yeah, the promo's probably already on YouTube.

So glad to hear you're writing a lot!! Who cares if it isn't the FF/SPN crossover? Point is, you're writing. That's good! Wish I could say the same, but here's to me kicking my muse into gear and writing through the writer's block tomorrow.

My new thing is a Mag7/SPN fic - which hardly anyone will read but i am having a blast writing. Guess that is all that matters.

I would offer your muse cheese if I had it but all i've got is a 2 liter of diet coke and a bag of chips - hotel food [g}

Yeah, definitely enjoying what you're writing is worth it. At least, that's the saying in my book (though I'm going to read said crossover, because I'm a bit familiar with the Mag7 TV show).

New Amsterdam was actually cancelled before it ever hit the air. The only reason they put it on was because they ran out of fresh programming due to the strike. For us, the show started out pretty good, but it's getting stale now. I freaking LOVE Eli Stone though, and thought Sterling did a mad-awesome job tonight.

I know! Eli stone is the best - I've heard it was on the bubble and the Sunday night airing will carry a lot of weight if it gets good ratings.

Yep Sterling is amazing. He does tend to play a lot of guys in prison - i wonder if that ever bugs him. i heard he's got a regular gig on some show and that's why SPN killed him off because he wasn't going to be aviable anymore.

So, no more New Amsterdam, huh? That's a shame. :(

I can honestly say I didn't expect Michael to go. I thought Kristy Lee would go before he would. Interesting.

I thought NA had potential but everything I'm hearing now says it only made it on the air becasue FOX had nothing else during the strike. WHich also explains why they didn't promot it much.

AI never fails to amaze me with the people who overstay their welcome. there seems to be one undeserving candidate in the top 6 every year.

With FOX, that doesn't surprise me. Something tells me we'll never know who The One was. Ah, well.

You're right..there's always one.

It does make me mad that FOX put the show on and really didn't care that people would get invested. I know it's a business but that is just mean
