Snagged from various people on my flist. I always wonder why people pick certain usernames and titles for their journals. This Meme asks those burning question.
So after I tell you about myself, how about you do the same? :)



1. My username is ______ because ______.

My Username is strangevisitor7 because 1-6 were not available. The name actually comes from the opening of the old Superman TV show and I quote “strange visitor from another planet who came to Earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men!” I picked it because when I started on LJ, I felt like an alien and was unsure of my place in this strange new world. Unfortunately, I don’t have any powers.

2. My name is _____ because ______.

My Name is Known TV Addict because I am one. I watch entirely too much TV and there is no 12 step program for this type of addiction. (that’s assuming I want to get over it)

3. My journal is titled ____ because ____.

My journal is titled "This Journal Protected by Rock Salt and Winchesters" because I actually used to have a sign on my old cubicle that said “This cubicle protected…” with a big picture of the SPN boys and their guns. It seemed like the appropriate protection for a newbie invading the dangerous LJ world.

4. My friends page is called ____ because ____.

My friends page is called The Roadhouse in reference to Ellen’s bar in SPN. Beer for everyone at The Roadhouse! It seems a good place to meet my friends.

5. My default userpic is ____ because ____.

My default userpic is Ezra from the Magnificent7 because I have recently discovered this show and I have much love for Ezra. Plus it looks very inviting the way he’s tipping his hat. Before that it was Adam Baldwin as John Casey from Chuck (see icon for this post) – I liked having an icon with my real name on it which was also the characters name. I’m easily amused, I know. I change my defualt userpic every few months to showcase my latest TV addiction and because I am an icon junkie.
