Since most of my flist likes the crossovers, I wanted to let ya'll know that the [livejournal.com profile] crossover_news community is back up and running with a weekly compilation of all that is posted in the crossover world. Yours truly is one of the worker bees. Check out all the stories from all over fandom. Also, be sure to let us know about any missing communitites or stories we should know about.

I wanted to thank [livejournal.com profile] clarksmuse and [livejournal.com profile] idontlikegravy for their recs of my crack fic A Muse Explains It All. I am so overwhelmed with the response this story has gotten. Thank you all for your lovely comments and feedback!

The next Immortal!Dean is close to being finished. I'm 17,000 word in and its just burning a hole in my pocket. It's almost done but you never know - you've met my muse. Still i have been feeding her lots of cheese so it should be done soon.

So I need to know should I start posting the beta'd chapters now or wait until it's complete?.

I do so know what you mean, my friend. And here's the super cool thing about having a series that can go onward into infinity: find some kind of stopping point for the main story... and then you can make little ficlets periodically for other storylines.

At least, this is what I have planned for Jo and Chloe.

There is something weird about a story that blocks your brain. i want to post it but i can't seem to finish this last chapter. i feel very much in a catch-22.

look forward to the many adventure of C&J but you know that

Do you think it's because you're trying to end this storyline/the series? I know I've struggled with that in the past myself.

I think it's because this section (17,00 words in)has a natural ending but doesn't answer the underlying mystery i set up. So I can't decide if i should keep going or call this the end for the moment. i think it is a very satisfying place to stop and sets the stage for the next arc. but I'm torn if it shouldn't be one long story

Personally, if your gut is telling you that this is the end, then that's what it should be. One thing I've learned is to follow your instinct. So go for it. ;)

I think I will. Because the thought of going past where I am is what is blocking me for the moment. i know there is a lot more story to tell - I just haven't worked it all out.

how's you break going - feeling refreshed?
