Look what Hubby brought home for me today! My very own Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the Comedian!!!
Click on the pics to get a better view. It comes with guns and other armaments. How cool is that!?!

I can not wait for this movie.

Edited to add:
For those of you who might be interested, Hubby got it at our local comics shop, The Laughing Ogre. Here's the link to their website - http://laughingogrecomics.com/stores/location/columbus/ They also made a Dr. Manhattan and a Rorschach.

LOL! He got it at the local comics store - here's the link to their website. http://laughingogrecomics.com/stores/location/columbus/

Maybe they can ship you one or tell you where you can get one in your neck of the woods.

BTW - My hubby says he is not afraid of your hubby and suggests that a good husband would know what his wife wants

Oh, man. I need one of those, except for Rorschach.

I've been waiting almost TEN YEARS for a Watchmen movie - because it was ten years ago I first read it - and I can't believe it's just a WEEK to go. God, it's going to be all kinds of fucked up (cuz everything Alan Moore writes is fucked up) and AWESOME.

They've already started collecting reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and they are highly positive. Not that it would stop me from seeing it but I was relieved that maybe Zack hadn't fucked it up. You are not alone - my whole family can not wait ONE MORE WEEK!!

I added the link to the store where he got it from if you're interested.

I am so happy to hear that people who didn't know the comic are excited - I see that as proof that the movie will cross over into the mainstream.

Is that the movie that has a bunch of bald blue guys who glow in the dark?

It's all I seem to see about the movie, if it is the one with bald blue glow in the dark guys ....

*smack me if you must*

Just one blue bald guy. And unless you collected comics...well The Watchmen aren't exactly mainstream.

No need to smack. LOL

Unfortunately it seems that the more excited I am about a movie the more it disappoints. LotR was th exception - I was squeeing for those movies for 3 years and they were everything I hoped they'd be

Still I have high hopes for Watchman and reviews are running very positive so far. *fingers crossed*

Oh! I LOVE LotR!! Legolas is a major hottie, but I adore Boromir. And Andy Serkis kicked arse as Gollum/Smeagol.

I can NOT wait for the Hobbit and it's sequel to come out 2010 baby!

I am a Boromir girl from day one. But then I loved Sean Bean in the Sharpe movies first. FotR is my favorite movie. As for the other charaters Eomer is my #2 and then Aragorn. Pippin is my favorite hobbit. [g]

I totally agree with you! I love Karl Urban, Eomer, I have loved him since he was Cupid on Hercules the Legendary Journies. Such a hottie.

Pippin is my fave hobbit too, I love the part where they are discussing 2nd breakfast/etc. and Aragorn throws the apple back and it hits him in the head and he looks up, like it could be raining apples, cracks me up every time.

What are the Sharpe movies?

Sean Bean did 14 or 15 TV movies in the UK about Richard Sharpe a Lt in the Napoleonic wars based on Bernard Cornwell's excellent series (http://www.bernardcornwell.net/index.cfm?page=2&BookId=6).

Sharpe fangirls know that is why Boromir says "Still Sharpe" when he's holding the broken sword in FotR, because SB will always be Sharpe first. :D

He is amazing in them and Daragh O'Malley(who played Francis in the Mag7 Pilot) is his right hand guy, Patrick.

That looks wicked cool!

I know squat about Watchman (I've never read the GN) but I can't wait to see it next week. I only even started paying attention to interview and promos about it because JDM is in it.

But I watched a 12 minute interview with JDM today too. Now I definately wanna see it!!! Jeff was cracking me up!

Hmmm how do I not have any JDM icons in my userpics!!! must remedy that this weekend...

The whole family is waiting (not very patiently) for this movie. The GN is a classic and was on EW's list of the most important books of the last 25 years.

The reviews are starting to surface and everything Is hear is very positive. I saw that interview - he is adorable

Hmmm - I think I need more JDM icons too.
