I officially apologize to my flist because American idol has started. This means I will be talking about it (hopefully not too much) But I have no shame; I admit it I still love this show

I seriously doubt I will find any one as Squee worthy as David Cook who is officially my favorite idol ever!!



Anyway tonight had to be one of the most cringe inducing set of 12 I've heard in a long time. The only one I thought even performed well was Alexis Grace. The rest were completely forgettable and some were just down right awful. Stevie Wright and the girl(she shamed the name so I refuse to acknowledge that her name was Casey) who attemped to sing(and I use the term loosly) a police song. It's been a long time since I've seen two such trainwrecks on one show.

Danny Gokey was ok and is a shoe in considering he got the coveted pimp spot singing last. Dial idol has him leading by a mile: http://dialidol.com/asp/predictions/predictions.asp if you want to check - they have been remarkably accurate in their predictions.

Are there any other AI fans on my flist - or am I alone out here?

That was so bad - you'd think by now contestants would stay away from kiss of death artists like the police, Micheal Jackson and Whitney but they keep doing it

Every year I have a bet with a co worker and for 4 out of the 5 years we've actually picked the final two I'm ahead 3-2 (didn't do it the first two years and I screwed up year four). Last year my David beat his David LOL. So once we get down to 10 I'll pick my horse and start dialing - until then I'm in research mode

Don't be upset! Fox Moved House to Monday and Bones to Thursday so - no Hiatus. But I get that it upsets the TV balance. Thursday is already the heaviest viewing night in our Household so another show may overload our DVR. ;p

I think Alexis will be the top girl. I really don't like this format - one and done. It's harder to over come no air time during Auditions/Hollywood week
