strangevisitor7This drabble was written for the summer challenge at highland_cross & for prompt #63 Summer for crossovers100 . My table is here It's the first time I actually hit exactly 100 words.
Explain This To Me Again
“Are you friggn’ kidding me? You want to teach me how to sword fight?”
“It’s an important skill, if you want to keep your head. Dean, you’ve got to trust me. I’ve been doing this for over 400 years.”
“Well, goody for you. Why I can’t just shoot the bastard and then chop his head off with my machete? Hell, I can decapitate anyone with a big enough shot gun blast to the head.”
Exasperated, Mac explained, “Because that’s not how the game is played.”
“Well, that’s how I’m playing the game.”
It was going to be a long summer.
