Celebrating One Year On LJ

Friday will mark my one year Anniversary on Live Journal. I thought of this as 4 new people friended me yesterday - shooting the number of people who have done that past 100.

I am just in awe and feeling a little sentimental because last May I was a lurker. Someone who read other people's stories and never commented or left any sign I was around. Then on May 30th 2007, I got myself a journal, delurked and everything changed.

On June 6th, I posted my first story ever and I mean ever: 4 Times Dean Got Fired and 1 Time He Quit. It was a simple effort and I thought that was it for writing but like a lays potato chip - I couldn't write just one [g].

Looking back through my archive, I was surprised to see that the second story I ever wrote was Red Tape, the first story in the Immortal!Dean series - I find it unbelievable that, that series was there right from the beginning.

So here I am a year later, completely addicted to writing and the community on LJ

To all you new flisters - tell me about you! I wonder why you came and I hope to get to know you better.

To the veterans - You guys are the best flist!!! Thanks for all your support, conversation and great feedback over the past year.

To My Betas - You're a great group and I thank you so much for helping me get better at writing every day!

This is very cool because I arrived a month ago and posted my first fic 2 weeks ago... I followed you home via someone on my flist, I was reading friends' friends pages today.

I was dazzled by your awesome writing talent reading Ghost Town and friended you so as not to miss out in the future *loves*

The only fandom I write in right now is Riptide, but I'm broadening my horizons rapidly.

I am also completely addicted to writing and to this wonderful community on LJ.

Wow, Over a 100 friend in one year : I don't really know how it happened but I really enjoy getting to know everyone.

That Dean story still gets comments and I can't believe how much people like it but really only the 2 & 5 are any good in my mind. Just like we talked about there's always a couple that don't work for the theme as well as the others.

Abby is great - i think she was getting a little out of control these final episodes. I hope her character doesn't become a caricature.

I was so worried they were going to kill Tony. not sure what I'll do if MW ever leaves the show - He was the reason i started watching but Gibbs and crew are why i stayed.

I love the Tim and Tony interplay. But i especially like how Ziva always gets the best of Tony as opposed to Kate who always seemed a little wimpy for a former SS agent to me.
