That was the impression I got from Highlander: End Game because Kate implied that if Duncan hadn't killed her, thereby triggering her immortality, she could have had children. Though I don't recall ever hearing about an Immortal who had children while pre-immortal. There's an episode in the series when a girl claims that she had Richie's son, but it wasn't his. I can't remember if that was because he was already immortal or if only Duncan knew it wasn't his because he knew Richie was Pre-Immie. This may require research of the DVD-watching kind. (And, hey...I have all the seasons, so I can do it too.)

I also didn't realize until I watched Highlander: The Raven that it has to be a violent death to trigger immortality. I thought it was any death that wasn't caused by natural causes, but in the HtR finale, they say poison isn't violent enough to trigger it. So it's gotta be something bloody I guess...

Though you've got to wonder, what's really more angsty? Dean losing Sam, or Sam watching his children (and presumably a wife) die. Parents just shouldn't outlive their children.

See, I'm torn. I've always hated the idea of death splitting up the brothers 'cause I have so much love for them and it just makes my heart hurt at the thought of one without the other...but at the same time, I'm an angst monger. :D

Guess we'll just see where [livejournal.com profile] strangevisitor7 takes this. Btw, sorry for turning your journal into my personal brainstroming box, lol.
