I hadn't thought about the humiliation aspect but you are right about that - how can i sympathize with a protagonist I'm supposed to make fun of. I don't think i will be giving the show any more opportunities. Joss has batted 1000 until now - A less than good show was bound to happen.
What show was that you first saw Mark Sheppard on? You're right about the first time thing - I first noticed him on FF and so that's why he's Badger to me and Mira Furlan is Delenn, Adam Baldwin is Jayne; Tahmoh Penikett is Helo - though in that case it's partly becasue I can not pronounce Tahmoh Penikett. LOL
