The Space Bug is driving me crazy

WARNING SERIOUS RANT AHEAD.
I love my car I really do but owining an old car can be a challenge. Leaving work it decided to die at the corner of one of the worst neighborhoods in town. To top it off my cell phone is dead. The one friggin' time I really need it. So, a guy loans me his phone first I call AAA and I call home. It's going straight to voice mail which means its off the hook and hubby's cell is turned off. Seriously at this point my head is about to explode.

I finally call a friend who drives to my house to tell hubby to come keep me company because as I said bad neighborhood.

Hubby finally shows and we wait an hour for AAA.

Wait I forgot to mention my sister and her family are in from VA through the weekend and I have to send her shopping for the stuff I was suposed to pick up on the way home. Yes, I felt like a great hostess.

So the car is towed. I call to find out what's wrong and they can't find anything. Go get the car and it drives perfectly. While I am really glad to not have to pay for a repair, I am still so frazzled from the whole experience I think my head actually did explode.
OK rant is over. *breathing deeply* I LOVE MY CAR.I LOVE MY CAR.I LOVE MY CAR.I LOVE MY CAR.

Well, the good news is I fianally caught up to the Methos. Yeah Highlander - keeping me sane!

Oh no! I'm glad you're ok! Gah *hugs* I would've hated to be stuck in such a situation.

You did very well, and your car looks very neat. Glad it didn't need fixing.

Yep, Saw Adam revealed as Methos. My son is totally addicted too and plays the song constantly (I have the queen cd) With company this weekend, I probably won't be able to finish season 3 until next week but Methos (mmm) I can see the appeal and I actually squeed when I recognized your Icon (the one of him with the sword at his neck)

Old cars have their appeal and problems. My dad had an old truck that used to vaporlock whenever my mom had to drive it to work.

Glad you got home okay and nothing else happened.

When I was in grade school, we had a mustard yellow bug. The interior was lined with yallow shag carpet, we called it Harry the Bomb because it sounded like it was going to explode any minute.

*grins* Would have like to have seen that. The Space Bug has this splatter paint job that makes it look like a Jackson Pollack Painting and the interior is a patch work of crazy and with mismatched front seats so no one can sit in the back seat - no leg room but I love it.
