That Darn Spawn Story

I never do understand how my muse works sometimes. I wanted to write a quick story about how Holly (divas_lament's spawn) and JD go find Chloe in the great spawn crossover universe. Well that little story has blossomed to almost 10,000 words. I just love the Spawn but this is crazy. I seriously need to find the "epic" off switch. I long to write drabbles *snicker* Like that's ever gonna happen. Diva has beta'd most of it and it's almost done - so look for a posting sometime tomorrow.

On another note - after promising for months that I was retuning to the story of Sam, The reavers and the firefly crew, I can actually say that I have written the first 1000 words *fist pump* But knowing my muse the damn thing will be 20,000 words long before I'm done.

It feels so weird to be writing in that part of my SPN world again. See this is what happens when ithyldin is off the internet. Poor Ezra gets shoved aside for some very determined Winchester brothers.

Heh, those Spawn are needy. My own crossover could have been much longer if I hadn't cut them off at the knees. There were more scenes I wanted, more conversations, etc.

And as a result of the early termination, the Spawn want more. Luckily they're behaving when I remind them I have homework. XD

LOL I'm surprised you could get them all to shut up - you did entertain five at once and I know how bad Holly and JD can be just by themselves.

I promised them I'd write more...I just didn't specify when.

I've gotta update Crossing Kansas, but I've found I can't sit with one fic so maybe I can bounce between C.K. and Spawn. Keep the kids happy.

Thnks for the encouragement - and I like to beta for exactly the same reason. I am feeling pretty good about my prospects for getting this story knocked out - better than I have in the 6 months since i finished the last arc.

Ficlets blossoming into epics - yes, I do have some experience with that. (The Willow/Don story was suppose to be ~3 parts.)

As for Ezra - never fear, he is well cared for in my hot little hands. If I can get my butt in gear and finish the half-written fics sitting open in word, you'll have 3-4 Ez fics for 14valentines. :D

Ith came back and brought Ezra with her - Have another story in my head ready to go - th eplot is fully formed but Ith has to finish hers first - or at least I want her to finish hers first. So I'm holdin goff writing it down.
