The Promise of a Pic Spam
I mentioned to
egorstandish and the rest of my bunker/gutter happy fun crew (you know who you are) how much I love the Sharpe Movies and Richard Sharpe played by Sean Bean. She'd never heard of him - so I promised a pic spam to illustrate exactly why Sharpe is worth watching.
The movies are based on the excellent books by Bernard Cornwell.
Enjoy!

Paul Bettany (in one of his first roles) as Prince William of Orange bothering Sharpe

Mag 7 fans will recognize Sharpe's right hand man Patrick Harper (Daragh O'Malley) as Frances from the Mag 7 Pilot.

MMM Dirty man.

So I think I've made my point

Thank you for the pic spam - I've been so lucky this weekend with finding some new pics of my fav Dale Midkiff. So this just adds to the joy.

I saw those pics of Dale - very nice. Is it true he's going to be in a new CSI spinoff?

And he added some of the supporting players - riflemen - because they were different in the show but he liked them.
Except for "sharpe's gold" which makes fans of the books go WTF - the movies are all very good.

I need to move up whatever Sharpe movie I'm on in my Netflix queue. Such a GOOD series. And much love for Daragh O'Malley!

Ooh gorgeous picspam of Sean Bean. I loved "Sharpe's Rifles" the first time, I saw it on Masterpiece Theater. I must get more of the series on dvd. I fell in love with the series first and then the books afterwards. Thanks for the yummy picspam and also for the picspam of Inmate 78. I snagged the Ezra caps of course. :) Thank you for all your capping and fic as well. You gave me a wonderful dose of brotherly love with "Movable Feast." I love how Dean showed up for Sam's Spring break.
Congratulations on the nominations for the MoM awards.
take care

I was very flattered about the nominations, especially being new to the fandom. Thank you!

that all I have to say to these pictures, most of all the first one. I heard all about these movies but my TV was acting up at the time so I didn't get to watch them, I've been trying to get them on DVD. Any idea on how many they made?
Thanks again for the pictures @_@
