The TV Addict - Smallville

I am curious how many on my flist are still watching Smallville because I was really disturbed by the last five minutes of Thursday's episode.

I just don't believe that Chloe would KILL that guy!! I understand that she would want to protect Clark from the mind reading freak. And yes the guy was a serial killer but I find it beyond ridiculous that Chloe would play vigilante and kill the guy.

Did this strike anyone else as being completely out of character for our favorite blonde reporter?

As for future episodes, I saw pictures of Chloe and Jimmy's wedding. I really hope that in true cliche TV fashion something arrives to prevent this annoying wedding from going forth. Quick someone tell the Winchesters that Chloe is about to make the biggest mistake of her life.

I don't watch Smallville, but everything i've read about Cloe would indicate that killing someone like that would definitely be OOC for her.

Hey! maybe she's possessed?

A call to the Winchesters is def needed LOL

I think it was a bit Brainiac controlled killing. I don't think it was 100% Chloe. Maybe just the part about wanting to save Clark.

But then again what do I know. That Chloe is not the same one from years before.

Quick someone tell the Winchesters that Chloe is about to make the biggest mistake of her life.

Heh, that was my original plan for Crossing Kansas...but the Chimmy was getting to me so I killed the relationship early.

...maybe I can write an AU chapter of Crossing Kansas.

I haven't watched the last two eps due to vacation, but what you described above definitely sounds OOC for Chloe. I've got a feeling there's more going on than meets the eye though. I hope that's the case, 'cause Chloe is pretty much the only character I have any real affection for on Smallville. Well, Chloe and the Justice League.

Well, I haven't watched any TV lately, since about last August, but I never really watched all that much Smallville to begin with, sorry.

I'm with everyone here thinking that it's truly OOC but I also think that Brainiac did malfunction something in Chloe's personality. Too bad she couldn't keep the healing abilities. Maybe more Ollie and Chloe exposure. I was also very disturbed by the fact that there were minimal interaction between Oliver and Chloe. It's like they're strangers but Mercy gets prime spotlight. I get annoyed with Chloe always getting overshadowed. *sighs* Thank god for fanfics.

Any opinions on Davis? I think he'll rip Jimmy to threads literally on the wedding day?

Ok, SPN was the only show I watched at all last week, but I *did* turn on the tv a few minutes early. Just in time to see this ::points up::

My first thought: 'OMG! Is Chloe going evil?!'

2nd thought: 'OMG - if she is, I may actually start watching this show again!'

But then you crushed my flailing hope with that whole weird 'Chloe/Jimmy marriage' thing, so I think I can safely avoid the show again. Sadly, I really do think Chloe needs to be saved by the Winchesters. That whole wedding thing has got to be demon-driven, right?

*laughs*

I thought the same thing.

Odd how even though I haven't seen much of this show since earlier season that now that everyone's stopped watching it I came back and started watching it sometimes. Of course I'm mostly watching it to see JH!!
