I remember seeing eppies in which immortals would walk away from a fight if both parties were willing. I also remember that Mac could kind of be considered a hunter of bad immortals, because he would actively go after bad immortals who were actively going after other immortals.

I also remember that Methos was as old as he was because he was very good at hiding.

But a lot of what I remember from HL was stuff that I got from watching it with my BF, who was obsessive.
