Richie never died. I mention the incident once in passing in an early story but only to establish that Mac was a hunter in his younger days and always accepted the supernatural.

When Methos was born people thought the world was flat and the sun revolved around the earth. My feeling about Methos is that he has seen so much superstition debunked by science that he would be the ultimate skeptic.
