“Welcome back, Richie.” MacLeod embraced his friend.
“It’s good to be back.”
“So, a college graduate.” Mac clapped him on the back. “I am so proud of you.”
“Thanks Mac.” Richie was practically blushing. “I figured if you could learn to read at fifty, I could go to college at thirty.”
“Education is a wonderful thing,” Duncan said leading Richie into the elevator.
Richie stiffened. “Mac are you aware that there's an Immortal upstairs in your apartment.
Mac tried to act nonchalant. “Really?.”
“You didn’t.”
Mac laughed. “Remind me never to throw a surprise party when Immortals are involved."
